I look over a test and I am still confused about the Warring States period and the period of the Hundred Schools in ancient China. Are they the same thing? How are they different? That dynasties happen in both? Help! Help! Help!
You must include the following: Period of Spring and Autumn (春秋) – About 722-476 BC C. – Refers to the Zhou Dynasty Eastern (东周) when all the princes of states were becoming more and Zhou (周) The power was weakening. Warring States Period (战国) – about 476-221 BC C. – Refers to the last period of the dynasty Eastern Zhou (东周) When the States were at war and not to the left 7 of the fittest. The Emporer Zhou was more than a name. School period hundred (诸子百家) – Includes both the Spring and Autumn and Warring States period. He was named "hundred schools" because despite the political chaos that existed and there were wars everywhere invoked researchers to dig deep in thought about philiosophy, so it was a golden age for the ideas of the Renaissance, and later in Europe. I hope this clear cut.
