Do you have information on the Pigeon Forge Pottery?

The Pigeon Forge Pottery was founded by Douglas Ferguson in 1946. He created Many sculptures based on animals in the Smokey Mountain area near Pigeon Forge, TN. Over the years, many people on holiday, visited the pottery with members of the family to watch items being made. As they left, they would be selected to a point or two to remember their journey. If you have a story or information to share, please respond, we would be happy to hear!

I live In Memphis, Tennessee, and I actually went to Pigeon Forge with my parents there about 15 years. We saw pottery made and I think my parents have picked up some parts. Whether or not still have, I have no idea. But I can remember everything looks! I intend Driving to Gatlinburg, TN in the coming months, the pottery shop still open?!?!
