I want to paint on pottery glazed. What should I do to prepare for the play and what kind of paint?
I saw someone Marshall on painting pottery that I know has windows at once. I want to do this for new paint pots to go in my new kitchen. Do I need preparing the pottery, what kind of paint should I use and how do I seal? I appreiciate help all those form that has done this before. Thank you!
The first thing to do is to scratch the glass paint will adhere. Use # 00 steel wool and rub the 150 grit sandpaper until that the glass loses it shine. You can then paint with any type of paint you want to use. The oil, water based, acrylic, etc. .. work. Once you've painted pottery you can use a clear spray sealer. They come in satin, gloss and gloss.
