I am looking for info on free Majolica pottery made in France in Sarreguemines?
I have a pitcher clown, trying find its value, help?
You would need to post more info if you want someone here to estimate the worth. Otherwise, try eBay, they often Majolica & you may be able to find an average of what people ask for it or tender on it to. You can also check with local antiques shops, they may be able to offer you free quotes or tell you where you can get one. My mother has a ton of antiques and it was a local antique appraiser come to her house (which was done for free) & estimate what its worth antiques and if the lady was interested in buying, she made an offer to my mother. When my mother agreed to supply it accepted and sold, but other parts, it did not intend to sell but at least he gave an estimate of its value. So I suggest you check something like that, they did not come to your home, but you can bring the piece to them and ask them if they are interested in purchasing. You do not have to sell it but at least you get an estimate of value. Hope this helps.
